DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS MANAGER

MAIN JOB FUNCTION:

  • Distribution Systems Manager is responsible for leading and managingdistribution systems support and accountable for the Distribution SystemsTeam. The Distribution Systems Manager will also partner with solution businessowners, developers, and other stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a team of Distribution Systems Analysts responsible for frontline functional and technical support for all end users.
  • Liaise with application vendors to ensure delivery of businessrequirements.
  • Work in concert with IT technical teams to coordinate and manageapplication release schedules.
  • Collaborate with business partners, including other global geographies,to identify system / process enhancement opportunities.
  • Manage projects related to systems enhancements, integrations, andimplementations.
  • Develop, lead, and implement strategic and tactical objectivessupporting Distribution Systems goals, budget, and initiatives.
  • Partner with vendors to scope functional and technical specificationsrelated to application enhancements.
  • Advocate for the business end users in time of system and/or networkperformance issues and work with IT and Infrastructure teams toenhance system stability and scalability.
  • Review and approve release application release content.
  • Provide leadership and initiate developmental opportunities forDistribution System Analysts in regard to training, performancemanagement, and employee motivation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, supply chain or in a related field.
  • 5 years experience in the management of technical teams.
  • 3 years experience in project management. Scrum and Agile a plus.
  • Advanced working knowledge/usage of MS Word and Excel – experiencewith SAP and Business Explorer preferred.
  • Ability to learn Google Platform (Email, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
  • Experience in working with different departments and cross-functionalteams, including people development skills and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities between upper andlocal management and demands.
  • Strong organizational, team-building, and communication skills, with theability to navigate within a complex matrix organization.
  • Must be able to successfully product results in a fast paced deadlinedriven environment
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, responsibility, and the ability toassume increasing responsibilities in a rapidly-changing environment.
  • Exceptionally strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • This position must be able to build effective relationships with all levelsand roles in the organization.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate and utilize leadership skills mrequired to drive continuous improvement of processes.
