Mitsubishi Motors pleased with results after plant visit at Roberts AIPMC

Mitsubishi Motors Corp. Japan (MMC) and Mitsubishi Motors Phil. Corp (MMPC) visited Roberts Automotive and Industrial Parts Manufacturing Corporation’s (Roberts AIPMC) Stamping Plant and Muffler Plant at Brgy. Canlubang Calamba on July 24 to conduct an onsite and machine inspection under an ongoing project partnership for the development of Mitsubishi Mirage model car parts in the Philippines.
Roberts AIPMC, an RGC Company, is one of the country’s leading automotive parts manufacturers and was recognized by MMPC to participate on the development of Mitsubishi Mirage Model in the country to meet the present demand for small car segment.
Mirage body parts development was started in Roberts in November 2016 through assistance and technical agreements with Metaltech Japan and Futaba Japan for Mirage muffler development. MMC and MMPC extended a satisfactory feedback to Roberts AIPMC after thorough inspection.
Roberts AIMPC proved its reliability to provide high quality automotive parts through a long partnership with MMC for more than 40 years now. This is also a contribution of the RGC Group of Companies to the government’s Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy (CARS) that aims to attract investors, boost the manufacturing capability of the automotive industrial sector of the country and create wide number of jobs for the Filipino people.
