The RGC Group of Companies employee volunteers trooped to their partner schools to participate in Brigada Eskwela 2017 in celebration with the Department of Education’s (DepEd) National Schools Maintenance Week.
As an annual activity of the RGC Group, member companies organized and gathered employee volunteers to paint, repair and clean the classrooms and vicinity of the school. Also, another way of participation was done through bags and school supplies donation. Among who joined the cause were Alabang, Iloilo, Roberts and Multican Canlubang, and Cagayan de Oro bases.
“We welcome the school year with this activity in solidarity with the DepEd’s objective to mobilize organizations, civic groups and private companies through bayanihan spirit. Also, we believe that investing to our youth through education is the best wealth we can hand to prepare for a better future, thus creating inspiration for the Filipino people.” – Mrs. Rose delos Santos, Robert G. Cheng/Uratex Foundation Chairperson
