Through small steps, Uratex moves forward to contribute in the environmental protection actions to prepare a better world for the next generation.
Recognizing the power of solidarity, the company is one with the global challenge to advance collective actions and activities in saving Mother Earth. In Uratex, the culture of volunteerism runs from its passionate leaders to motivated employees.
With seeds and hands of hope, Uratex Iloilo recently conducted a Tree Planting Activity at Brgy. Tugas, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo in partnership with Sta. Barbara National Comprehensive High School (SBNCHS). It was participated with Uratex Iloilo employee-volunteers along with the students and teachers of SBNCHS.
“Little drops of water make the mighty ocean,” quoted by a teacher of SBNCHS during the orientation and briefing to compare how a single seed can make a big impact to save the environment.
Uratex Iloilo employee-volunteer Aimee Jane Santiago said, “amidst long drive and muddy trail going to the area, we brought with us the pride and joy that although we plant just a portion of the mountain, our little deeds will have a big impact for the future generation.”
Santiago added that it was an inspiring and motivational experience for them to work in a company that managed to facilitate activities which pays attention to the protection and preservation of the environment.
This kind of activity is strengthened by the company’s sincere accordance and strict compliance to national and local environmental policies.
